Breathable ski wear is vital on the slopes. Without it, as soon as you begin to exercise, you perspire. In non-breathable skiwear, this perspiration has nowhere to go so you end up wet and therefore cold. In breathable gear the moisture goes through the outer layer keeping you dry.
